Driftless Surgical, LLC is owned by Dr. Joe Adrian, DVM. Dr. Adrian graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. It was there he first fell in love with orthopedic surgery. After practicing at mixed animal practices for over ten years, Dr. Adrian continued to find himself drawn to the surgery room. Encouraged to further develop his skills and gain experience, Dr. Adrian accepted a surgical position at Big Sky Animal Medical Center in Great Falls, Montana in 2018, where he continues to travel to monthly.
After spending the past three years focusing on surgical procedures, Dr. Adrian is thrilled to be able to offer all he learned to help pets and pet parents find affordable surgical options in the Driftless Region he calls home. Dr. Adrian has completed hundreds of orthopedic surgeries, primarily consisting of TPLOs and fracture repairs, with incredible success.
Outside of the surgery room, Dr. Adrian can be found enjoying the outdoors. He resides in Northeast Iowa area with his wife and their family of pets.
